AUTORA VAZ is a textile research project that began in 2022 in Uruguay. Our garments are crafted with a sense of identity and awareness, and are meant to provoke some necessary conversations and reflections. The materials we use are all vegan. We choose natural and organic fabrics, woven in fair labour conditions. The pieces are made by hand by seamstresses working autonomously in Montevideo. We dye naturally, and create unique pieces.
